A new section of the Chemmani–Siththupathi Hindu cemetery, where a mass grave had previously been identified, was suspected to contain additional mass graves. Excavation work began in this newly identified area, and today, a piece of clothing believed to belong to a young girl was unearthed.
However, it is noteworthy that no skeletal remains have been discovered in this new section so far.
