Member of Parliament Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam was released on bail by the Kilinochchi Court.
He was arrested this morning at his residence in Colombo on charges of obstructing a police officer on duty.
Later this evening, he was produced in the Kilinochchi Court, and the court granted bail and released him.
